In SPRING, it is possible to map the process of production and injection for geothermal groundwater utilisation. An input file is created for this purpose, which is taken into account by a corresponding entry in the batch file during transient heat transport. The file has the following structure:

In the example file, the water temperature (KONZ) of extraction node 2577 is cooled by 4°C and reintroduced at node 2575.
