Layer definition for a 3D model

Layer definition for a 3D model

Data identifier: 3DSH [-] (only 3D model files, *.3d)

The automatic generation of the 3D layers from the the thickness of the 2D model is calculated by using the relative division proportions (not their absolute thickness!).

Example:

The specification: 3DSH: 1 2 2 has the following effect:

A total of four node surfaces are generated with depth, which makes up the three specified layers. The thickness of the first element layer is half that of the second and third. The absolute Z-values are determined automatically by calculating the difference between the upper boundary and the lower boundary of the model.
