LAKE [-] (node wise) (2d or 3d models)

The LAKE attribute allows the consideration of lake bathymetry even in the horizontal model, so that a lake water level can be calculated depending on the groundwater level. For this, a reference number (>0) is assigned to the nodes of the lake, similar to the GRUB attribute.

This number is then also used for the designation of the water level-volume relationship (lakename/number.hv), which can be calculated in the SPRING menu (Attributes Extras Lake Parameters). To take the lake water level into account in the model calculation, it is absolutely necessary to assign the (m NHN) height of the lakebed to the attribute GELA (terrain height) at the lake's nodes.

The corresponding lake parameters (initial water level, leakage, or inflow/outflow quantities) can be changed transiently.
