The real evaporation according to the Meßer method is calculated based on the climate zone, soil types, depth to groundwater, and land use. The calculation is based on dbase files, which are stored in the directory "C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SPRING\Konfig" (Windows 7 or newer) during the installation of SPRING. This path varies depending on the operating system or hard disk partitioning (e.g. under Windows XP: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SPRING\Konfig").
